I have had nearly 20 years experience in helping people heal their wounds and reach their potential. My goal has always been to leave people with a deeper understanding of themselves and to have many new ways of living life to its fullest . I have spent many years exploring and learning different modalities and teachings. I have worked in organisations that have specialised in cancer and chronic health conditions, maternal and child health, sexual based trauma, multiple traumatic events, critical incidents, and mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, suicide, eating disorders, relationship issues, grief and loss. In these organisations I had the opportunity to also develop and faciliate workshops, seminars and program evaluations. I held the position of Lecturer in Psychology at Swinburne University. I have tutored and lectured in both undergraduate and postgraduate Psychology subjects, and developed a course on Psychology and Trauma. But over the last few years I have returned to my roots and resumed private practice.
Although I am passionate about what Psychology can offer to people in terms of healing and growth, working with people to find their authentic place within, whether that be through therapy, teaching, or other forms, is my deepest passion. This is why I have explored other avenues to offer a broader and more wholistic veiwpoint to my practice.
Sage Pathways provides a blend of one-on-one sessions, group therapy, seminars and workshops as I believe this gives people more opportunities to explore who they are and what they want from life. I draw on a range of evidence based skills, my teaching background and other modalities to help you achieve self knowledge and change in your life. We are all different and at times need access to various ways to understand and learn about who we are. And in this understanding I offer three pathways of self exploration:
Welcome to Sage Pathways! I hope you enjoy the journey as much as I am!

- Psychology: The intention of psychological therapy is usually focused on emotional healing.
- Life coaching: The intention of which usually focuses on the attainment of a goal or a dream.
- Soul Coaching's ®: The intention of which is to clear away inner debris in order to connect you with the wisdom of your soul.

The Name "Sage Pathways" |
"Sage Pathways" came about because I wanted a service that offers various options to seeking personal growth and change. The primary meaning of "Sage" is wisdom, but it is also a plant that has been used to clear negativity, to bring positivity and clarity to a place or person. The dual meaning of this word is at the core of Sage Pathways - to seek wisdom and more positive pathways to a life that we want.

The Symbol |
The logo continues the link to wisdom and growth.
The spiral is found everywhere in nature and is a symbol found in many cultures. It has been said that the spiral represents growth and the evolvement into our core self. I once heard a Navajo storyteller describe the spiral as a representation of both an inward and outward journey, a meaning that reasonates strongly with me. The journey inwards is the pathway to finding your inner self, the outward journey is the sharing of that wisdom with others. The tree for me has many layers of symbolism and has been a strong theme in my own journey. Having it emerge from the centre of the spiral for me is the growth we achieve when we journey into who we are. We flourish outwardly, the leaves, whilst holding strong roots to self. The fruits and seeds that the tree produces we take back out to plant in the world, to "Be" who we are. This is what therapy, coaching and self exploration is about. Discovering yourself is only half the journey. The other part is learning to take that wisdom into the life that is desired and to "Be" in an authentic life. |
